Format: One-day practical face-to-face training and assessment with the required online learning component.

The course focuses on practical first aid capability, including emergency assessment, CPR and care until further assistance is available.

PPS Academy uses clinician-led instruction, realistic scenarios and hands-on practice to build confidence beyond the assessment environment.

Participants complete the required online learning before attending the practical day. Face-to-face training focuses on assessment, CPR, first aid response and realistic scenarios applicable to workplaces, community settings and everyday emergencies.

HLTAID011 includes practical CPR assessment. Participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for kneeling and practical activity and contact PPS Academy before the course if a physical limitation may affect assessment participation.

PPS Academy is locally based in Dongara-Port Denison. This public course provides local residents, workers and organisations with practical first aid training closer to home.
